We feel truly blessed when we place a dog in the "perfect forever home". There are so many stories we couldn't begin to list them all on this page, but here are a few:

BUDDY (AKA MARTLEY) was adopted in March 2011 by a wonderful couple from Canada. "Thank you for allowing us to adopt Buddy. He is a wonderful little dog, so loving and smart. We feel so blessed to have found him. He is a very good traveller-so cute in hotels-just like he knew he was special and in a hotel"

DIVA: This poor girl was a stray, picked up by the Apache Junction Animal Control. She was not showing well at their facility because of being kenneled. She wouldn't let any prospective adopters near her. They asked us to see if we could help or they might havae to euthanize her. Her foster family took her in and got her confidence in humans back. She found her perfect forever home a few weeks later. They love her and she loves them. |

ELMO: This sweet puppy was rescued by the Apache Junction animal Control. He was in terrible shape, skinny, sores all over him, crooked legs and oh, so pathetic. They contacted us to see if we could help. SAFE paid for his visit to the veternarian who diagnosed him with severe Valley Fever. He was placed in a foster home to take care of him and get him on his way to recovery. On his medication and with good food and lots of love, he grew and blossomed into a wonderful puppy. His adoptive family are now taking great care of him and he is happy and healthy and has children to run and play with him. A true fairytale ending. |

G.G.(GOOD GIRL)(aka-BELLA) This purebred Bluetick Coonhound was dumped in the country! Here is the quote we received from her new owners Cindy and Laurie: " She appears to have adapted well thus far, though I am sure she wonders where you both are. This week will be busy for her as she is meeting her new doctor, and her nanny. Again, thank you so much for caring for her until we found each other, I think she has filled a very large hole that was in our hearts when we lost Boyd." |
