Welcome

Safe Animals From Euthanasia, Inc. (S.A.F.E.) is a 501c-3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless and abandoned animals.

We are a small group of animal lovers who go to the local animal shelters and take out as many dogs as we can, depending on the availability of our foster homes.

Each dog comes into our foster homes and is treated like one of the family.  We get to know our dogs, so that we can find the right forever home for them.

Each Saturday, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. we take our dogs to the PetSmart at Hampton Ave/Power Rd in Mesa to look for potential forever homes to adopt these homeless dogs.

Our biggest problem is a lack of enough foster homes to house all of the dogs in need of a temporary shelter.

If you live in  the area, PLEASE consider temporarily hosting a dog in need. It's true that you can't change the world of overpopulation by fostering one dog, but you change the world for that one dog. If you are interested in fostering please fill out the foster agreement and contact us for more information.

We provide any necessary medical care to all the dogs we take in.  All of the dogs up for adoption are up-to-date on all required shots and are neutered or spayed.

A BIG HEART IN A LITTLE BOY TO HELP SAVE DOGS AND CATS
On 5 Jan 2013 Corron came into PetsMart with his parents and asked for the donation jar.  He said, "I saved plastic bottles and aluminum cans for months so I could help dogs and cats!!"  He proceeded to put a large donation into our money jar.  What a privilege it is to know this little boy and his parents.  We at S.A.F.E. want to give this wonderful family our heartful thanks.
