Save Animals From Euthanasia, Inc. (SAFE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing animals from local shelters when their "time is up".

A Plea

As a non-profit organization, we depend on adoption fees and donations from the public to help us to pay for food, shampoo, vaccinations, vitamins, treats, medicines and vet care. ALL of our money is used to help the animals - we have NO paid employees. We volunteer our time because we care about the welfare of homeless and abandoned dogs in our area.

Our adoption fees range from $125 to $250 depending on the breed. Our fees include spay or neuter, three sets of puppy shots and a rabies shot. Many of our dogs come to us in need of veterinary care. Some have had mange, ringworm, eye and ear infections, teeth in need of cleaning. Some need surgery to correct various problems. We never turn down an animal because of health problems - we provide medical care to any animal that needs it.

2008 A Huge Success

We placed more than 200 dogs into good adoption homes in 2008.

Come visit us at PetSmart on Signal Butte and U.S. 60 every Saturday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. with dogs and puppies available for adoption. Also, if you are interested in helping us by fostering a dog or puppy, we can discuss it then. Hope to see you soon!!!

Join our Twice-Monthly Meetings

We meet at the Dolce Vita Clubhouse (Goldfield and I-60) on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 6:30 P.M, to keep each other updated on our progress and plan for the following two weeks.

Foster an Animal Today

Even if you can't adopt an animal at this time, there's an alternative - you can take care of one of these cute friends until a permanent home can be found!

There are times when we must pull an animal out of the pound quickly, because they're in danger of being put to sleep. If your home could be a temporary home for one of our emergency animals, it could save their life.
